Burt Raimi is no longer engaged in the private practice of law. On May 1, 2005 he became General Counsel of Washington Management Corporation, Washington, D.C. Washington Management Corporation is a mutual fund service company. It provides business management services to a number of mutual funds, including American’s Washington Mutual Investors Fund, the fifth largest mutual fund in the United States. The position was for an approximately two year period which ends September 1, 2007.

During his tenure with Washington Management Corporation Burt continued to serve as an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association, the National Arbitration Forum and for persons seeking an impartial arbitrator outside of the usual arbitration channels.

Burt will continue acting as an arbitrator and after September 1, 2007 will also be available to consult with individuals, corporations and attorneys on matters related to banking, securities, corporate transactions, business entities and commercial transactions. Burt is admitted to practice in Florida and the District of Columbia.
