Burt Raimi's clients of receive the highest value
for their legal budget. Burt, in his capacity as Deputy General
Counsel for FDIC reviewed the legal fees of FDIC's outside counsel
and observed first hand their billing practices. Drawing from these
experiences, he is committed to providing his clients true value
for their legal fee dollar.
Burt has kept his overhead to a minimum and relies
heavily on technology. Because of the reduced overhead expenses,
Burt Raimi is able to charge hourly fees that are less than those
charged by large firms, yet he is able to deliver the same quality
of service. Clients are not charged for "educating" firm
attorneys or for attorney travel time within the State of Florida.
Legal work is done by Burt and is not delegated to junior attorneys.
Because of his experience and knowledge and through the use of computer
technology, legal services are rendered quickly and efficiently.
Prior to undertaking a new project, the firm provides
a client with an engagement letter describing the scope of the engagement
and the anticipated legal fees. While most services are rendered
on an hourly fee basis, when appropriate and mutually beneficial,
flat fee and other flexible fee arrangements will be considered.
Billing statements are rendered monthly so that clients are able
to closely monitor the fees incurred and the services rendered.
Statements are very detailed, providing a narrative description
of the specific services rendered. The firm encourages clients to
discuss openly and candidly billing questions and issues.
